Pearce Seeds offer a range of products to suit all your needs in and around the house, in the pony field or out on the sporting pitch.
Our more popular lawn & amenity mixes are;
SUPERLEY AMENITY MIXTURE
A hard wearing general purpose amenity grass mix, that is well suited for orchards, paths and general amenity areas. This is a 50% mix of Creeping Red Fescue & Amenity Perennial Ryegrass.
ROSEDOWN - LAWN MIXTURE
A good lawn mix that is hardwearing. The mixture of carefully selected grasses creates a superb lawn finish that should be easy to maintain and the children won't wear out.
Detailed breakdown of grasses are;
15% Dwarf Perennial Ryegrass
30% Strong Creeping Red Fescue
10% Chewings Fescue
20% Smooth Stalked Meadow Grasses
20% Slender Creeping Red Fescue
5% Browntop Bent
Application rate: 30g/m2 or 1kg will cover 33m2 (approximately an area 5m X 6M)
Pearce seeds can tailor make a grass mix for you. We have access to most grasses and a variety of wildflowers should you be looking for a specific grass mix or want to add something different to your orchard or parkland.
GROUNDSMAN FERTILIZER
A controlled release lawn fertiliser (11:9:9 + 2% Iron) ideal for lawns, sporting pitches or orchards. Application rate for this fertiliser is 5kg per 100m2.
MOSS CONTROL
We have a ferrous sulphate treatment available for moss control in lawns.
WEED CONTROL

PONY FIELDS
We have the White Horse Equestrian Ley which is ideal for pony fields. With a combination of carefully selected grasses, this horse paddock mixture will keep any equine happy out in the field.
